LEADERSHIP
Tom Mullenix has been involved in missions and local church ministry for 39 years. Via the influence of Perspectives in the World Christian Movement (1984 alum) God moved him into student missions mobilization and then into short term international evangelism.
He began partnering with Kouame Adjoumani in the Ivory Coast, West Africa in 1988. God has blessed their work in wonderful ways (add link to – The Ivory Coast Story), multiplying from one church to more than 50 (with over 4,000 believers).
Tom says, “I am not gifted to move overseas and live as a missionary, however the Lord has equipped me to be a good partner.” By annual short term trips and regular communication God has used this partnership to build the Kingdom. Tom travels to many other places (world-wide) developing more partnerships.
Through the influence of Twelve21 Mission, he hopes to recruit more Christian leaders (both in America and internationally) who will work together to launch indigenous church planting movements, world-wide.
Laura Mullenix serves as a valuable asset to Twelve21 Mission. She is also the Founder and Director of BethNuah Ministries – a ministry to pastor’s wives. Laura has mission experience and has taken short term trips to Eastern Europe and Africa. Her work with prayer partners is vital to Twelve21.
Tom & Laura have two sons and 9 grandchildren: Dustin & Karilyn (Claire, Kyle, Caleb, and Emerson) are missionaries in Ukraine. Jed & Beth (Jarin, Brooks, Karlie, Elise, and Lydia) serve a local church in Iowa.
